Welcome Baby Heath!

As you probably know, Heath Yuan-Yang Merschat made his way into the world and into our hearts on April 25, 2013.  We left for the hospital to induce labor on the evening of the 23rd and 32 hour later we were blessed with our sweet Heath!

He was a healthy 7 pounds 2 ounces and 20.5 inches with a great set of lungs!

Michael is such a proud papa and I cannot get enough of our wonderful little boy - even though the middle of the night feedings are interrupting my beauty sleep!

And we were so happy to have both sets of proud grandparents and our siblings to share this amazing and wonderful time in our lives.

(Note: Arthur was at the hospital too but I didn't have any photos of him.)  We are so lucky to have our families come from so far away to share this with us!

Needless to say, the last 10 days have been exhausting, emotional, unpredictable, and incredible.  I feel like we're being introduced to a little more of Heath's personality everyday and learning more about ourselves in the process.  There is so much love in our little family.

It's only been 10 days since his birthday, but we couldn't imagine our lives without our sweet baby Heath.  We look forward to sharing more photos (as we find the time)!
