It's my favorite season... picnic season!
Yesterday, our friends kicked off picnic season at Peirce Mill and, although a little windy, it was so much fun! So, in anticipation of a busy picnic schedule in 2010, here are our favorite spots in DC:
Peirce Mill is over by Cleveland Park and is part of Rock Creak Park.
Theodore Roosavelt Island is where Michael took me for a picnic on one of our first dates (aaaaaw...)
The National Arboretum (of course) with 412 acres to cover, I see many more picnics at the Arboretum in our future!
Montrose Park is just down Wisconsin Ave from our apartment and has swings! You gotta love that!
